Katie James ’14, a former Pace University New York City Model United Nations Head Delegate, was featured by CBS New York in a segment on “Ready Girl“, a superhero character played by Katie, who makes sure people are prepared for disasters.
Katie works as an outreach coordinator for Ready New York, a public education campaign of New York City Emergency Management.
While at Pace, Katie participated in many Model UN conferences, including in Washington DC, Geneva and Costa Rica and was recognized with numerous awards. She wrote a significant portion of our Model UN Handbook. She interned with the Control Arms coalition during the Arms Trade Treaty negotiations, as well as with Organizing for America and NYC Emergency Management.
